We are now launching our "Tails of Austin" magazine fundraiser for 2025 to support Austin Humane Society. Our goal is to raise and donate $15,000 to Austin Humane Society through this fundraiser.  We are limiting 40 dogs to be part of this project. The magazine will feature your dog in a full page layout. To apply to participate in the magazine, complete the form below and we will reach out to learn more about your dog and go over the project details. 

After you apply, we will review your application and we will contact you by text, email and phone to go over the details. If your pet is selected to participate, we will collect the $300 participation fee to proceed. 

*Printed artwork is not included with the participation fee. We will go over the options available for wall portraits you can purchase if you choose.

Model Release: Should I be successful in my application, I acknowledge and agree that Kim Ortiz Portrait Art shall have the exclusive, perpetual, and irrevocable right to take, use, re-use, publish and republish photographic materials from the photographic session in printed promotional and portfolio materials and samples, online use, and other areas of marketability including, but not limited to the Tails of the Austin magazine.

1. All successful applicants will pay a $300 participation fee (for ONE pet).
2. The $300 registration fee includes one photoshoot per family (for one pet) and a one page feature in the magazine PLUS a copy of the Tails of Austin Magazine.
3. Registration fee does NOT include any products or digital files. Portraits captured during your session will be available for purchase at the design consultation. 
4. One design consultation will be allocated per photoshoot.
5. Copying of photos by digital, electronic, or traditional means is not permitted.
